Brierley care home was a contract awarded to ourselves in Oct 2011 and was forecasted to be an 8 month contract.
The work involved 2 extensions, one situated at the front of the property creating 2 en-suite bedrooms and a large extension forming 5 en-suite bedrooms.
Also Incorporating lift shafts, concrete staircases and waste pumping systems.
Both extensions had to work imminent with the care home to ensure no major alterations would effect the heart of the home and its every day running.
Good communication from both parties created the right tonic in ensuring a successful job.
This project was a JCT contract, with monthly meeting taking place for performance,valuation and for any issues to be raised, closely run with CDM (construction,design and management).
Barrow construction delivered the project within 6 months of the contract and as a result awarded with there achievements.
This care home is a credit to the Ribble Valley.
